Carbon anodes are made from petrol coke and coal tar pitch through a process of mixing, vibrating and pressing followed by high-temperature baking. The resulting blocks are used as anodes in prebake aluminum reduction cells for the production of aluminum.
Our prebake anodes have low ash content, low sulfur content and low electrical resistance. They are suitable for high-power electrolysis cells.
